This one-piece panel is part of a extensive restoration and conversion of a Piper Tri-pacer (PA-22) to a tail-dragger. Additionally, the aircraft was modified with a new oil cooler system allowing the nose cowling "chin" to be removed (STC SA 0753DE). Also, HID landing lights (landing & taxi with pulsing) have been installed (STC SA 0600DE) along with a windscreen skylight and new fuel level indicators.
